Bicolor cat collar

This necklace is made from a scrap of white porcelain. The image, printed with firing-compatible pigments, is applied to the porcelain then fired in a potter's kiln: the pigments fuse with the glaze, making the image durable and inseparable from the porcelain.
The porcelain is then shaped by hand before being set in a pendant combining fine silver 999 and sterling silver 925. The pendant is designed with an open back that is not visible when worn.
