Jewelry Care

Caring for your jewelry
On your left, you'll find some simple instructions to care for your jewelry.
Sterling silver is made of 92.5% pure silver, combined with 7.5% other metals, primarily copper (never nickel). This small amount of copper can, for some people, cause a slight greenish tint on the skin, especially when the jewelry is frequently exposed to water, sweat, or chemicals.
Everyone’s skin reacts differently to copper: some can wear their jewelry all the time without any effect, while others may need to remove it when showering, swimming, or during physical activities.
